In related news, DEEP PURPLE guitarist Steve Morse has two tracks on a new release called "Of Storms to Come". The CD will be released by the Cherokee Mist Foundation and it's going to be exclusively available through their web site (currently under construction). All proceeds will go to charity. The beneficiaries include various American Indian and Irish grass roots projects, focusing on preserving the ancient, natured-based traditions of those people.
The two songs are "Call of the Ancestors" and "Indian Summer", the former being a jam featuring Steve together with a host of Irish musicians, and the latter being a tune which was originally written for an album of all acoustic songs Steve was working on that never reached fruition.
The album will be available from www.cherokeemist.org (currently under construction) within a couple of weeks.
